Self evaluation for Social Media Opportunities for Work and Leisure

Since taking this course, I have learned that in this era, social media plays a huge role in human work lives as well as personal lives. Social media is not only a platform for advertising but it is also where people work and get money from. I believe that in the future, more people will work from social media than anyway else.

This course has given me a better insight into how the social media world really operates and how we, as consumers, utilize its many platforms, as well as all, understand its rules when it comes to content sharing. Before this course, i have was not familiar with the definition behind 'digital identity' but now, i understand that it is something we can create for ourselves.

The social media implementation plan was the main assignment that consumed the most time due to the fact that the task was more complex than first perceived, in my opinion. 

At the beginning of this course, i have set a goal, to better understand the concept of social media and its advantages to its users, which i have obtained after completing this whole course.

Travelling to foreign countries.

Today I have decided to write about travelling. The reason behind this is because i have developed an admiration for visiting and experiencing new countries and their cultures. Ever since a tender age, my parents would take me travelling and show me different kinds of culture every country had and how important it was to be fully aware of each countries culture/tradition before visiting.  Before any kind of travelling, it is important to know what kind of culture/tradition the country has/practices. Going to a foreign country blindly (without any information regarding their culture) may cause some problems/complications for the traveller themselves. One of the most common things that may happen is culture shock. While culture shock usually occurs to travellers that are travelling for a longer period/duration of time, this shock may also happen to short duration travellers. Knowing the countries culture will prepare the traveller which may prevent things as culture shock from happening.
